1. Las Vegas Raiders - Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Mendoza was fitted for his Raiders jersey months ago. The question now is how long Kirk Cousins will delay his NFL debut. I bet we see the rookie under center before Halloween.

2. New York Jets - David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

This pick comes down to the easier-to-project Bailey vs. the higher ceiling of Arvell Reese. The majority of insiders -- and the betting odds -- are leaning Bailey. That makes plenty of sense for a Jets defense that ranked 31st in sacks and somehow had 0 INTs all last season.

3. Arizona Cardinals - Arvell Reese, EDGE, Ohio State

Arizona might not be any better than 50/50 to make this pick, with the Chiefs and Saints looking like the most likely trade-up candidates. If the Cardinals do stick, it's tough to believe they'd go with a luxury pick in Jeremiyah Love -- especially with a high-upside defender like Reese staring them in the face.

4. Tennessee Titans - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

New HC Robert Saleh might be pushing for Sonny Styles here. But Love sits higher on the consensus big board. And it's not like the Titans offense is chock full of weapons.

5. New York Giants - Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

The Giants start to rebuild their Dexter Lawrence-less defense with Styles, who combines strong production (182 tackles over the last two seasons) with elite athleticism (9.99 Relative Athletic Score).

6. Cleveland Browns - Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

Cleveland might be able to trade down a few spots and still land Fano. But I believe that the expected run on offensive linemen will push the Browns to that position over WR with their first pick in Round 1.

7. Washington Commanders - Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

The Commanders can't go into QB Jayden Daniels' third season with Treylon Burks, Van Jefferson, and Co. behind Terry McLaurin. Tate's downfield skill set would mesh well with Daniels.

8. New Orleans Saints - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

The Saints might have found their answer at QB in Tyler Shough. But he needs help behind Chris Olave. Tyson's stock is on the rise after a strong workout last week. And Saints ace reporter Nick Underhill has been on Tyson as the target here.

9. Kansas City Chiefs - Rueben Bain, EDGE, Miami

Arm-length and off-field issues might push Bain down the board some. But he looks like a top-five talent on the field to my eyes. He was a three-year producer at Miami (20.5 sacks, 33.5 TFLs) and turns just 22 in September.

10. New York Giants - Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

Downs pairs with college teammate Sonny Styles to give John Harbaugh his new Roquan Smith-Kyle Hamilton. (Or Ray Lewis-Ed Reed if things go really well!)

11. Miami Dolphins - Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami

Miami's "Packers South" regime starts the rebuild with a potential cornerstone OT. Mauigoa was widely considered the best offensive lineman in this class before concerns about a back injury that might eventually need surgery.

12. Dallas Cowboys - Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

The Cowboys land the last elite defender in this class. Delane allowed just 14 catches and 0 TDs on 357 coverage snaps last year.

13. Los Angeles Rams - Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

You'll see WR here in many mocks, but O-line is a sneaky need for the Rams. RT Rob Havenstein retired this offseason, while OTs Warren McClendon and David Quessenberry, Gs Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson, and C Coleman Shelton are all scheduled to be free agents after this season.

14. Baltimore Ravens - Olaivavega Ioane, G, Penn State

Once air tight, Baltimore's O-line has sprung some leaks recently. Ioane is a plug-and-play starter after mauling in the run game and allowing zero sacks at Penn State over the past two seasons.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

Buccaneers GM Jason Licht in mid-April: "It would be great to add a TE to the roster that brings an element that maybe some of the others don’t." Sadiq and Cade Otton couldn't be more different.

16. New York Jets - Makai Lemon, WR, USC

I don't believe WR is as high on the Jets' wish list as most. (They like Adonai Mitchell!) But Lemon would be tough to pass on here -- and would pair nicely with top dog Garrett Wilson.

17. Detroit Lions - Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

Detroit going O-line after losing LT Taylor Decker feels like one of the better bets of Round 1. Freeling has experience at both OT spots and oozes upside at 6'7, 315 pounds with a 9.99 Relative Athletic Score.

18. Minnesota Vikings - Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon

This mock draft pick is so popular that you just know it won't happen. But Thieneman makes a ton of sense as the eventual or immediate replacement for Harrison Smith. Thieneman crushed the Combine with a 9.72 Relative Athletic Score.

19. Carolina Panthers - KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Three straight Round 1 WRs for the Panthers?! It's still a position of need with Xavier Legette looking like a bust. The shifty and explosive Concepcion would form a nice duo with the bigger-bodied Tetairoa McMillan.

20. Dallas Cowboys - Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

The Cowboys continue to rebuild their Micah Parsons-less defense with Faulk, a monster 6'6, 276-pounder with position versatility.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana

The Steelers have been heavily linked to this WR class, even after trading for Michael Pittman. New senior offensive assistant Frank Cignetti Jr.'s brother Curt just spent the last two years coaching Cooper at Indiana.

22. Los Angeles Chargers - Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami

This is a sneaky spot for an interior offensive lineman like Texas A&M's Chase Bisontis. But the Chargers can address that area on Day 2. Mesidor is already 25 and dealt with significant foot and shoulder injuries in college. But he's an instant-impact pass rusher after racking up 12.5 sacks last year.

23. Philadelphia Eagles - Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

The Eagles love investing early picks on the lines -- but they haven't done so on the offensive side since 2022. The unit is in need of some youth, particularly with 36-year-old RT Lane Johnson coming off an injury-riddled season. Iheanachor is a bit of a project but would fit well as Johnson's understudy.

24. Cleveland Browns - Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

Pass-loving HC Todd Monken needs to bolster a WR group currently led by Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, and Isaiah Bond.

25. Chicago Bears - T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson

Chicago's offense looks ready to explode, but the defense still needs help. The team tied for 22nd in sacks last year, and Montez Sweat was the only Bear to top 6. Parker is coming off a slightly underwhelming 2025. But he was a freshman All-American in 2023 and tallied 11 sacks as a sophomore.

26. Buffalo Bills - Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF

The Bills need more pass-rushing juice behind Greg Rousseau and Bradley Chubb. The 253-pound Lawrence looks like a nice fit in new DC Jim Leonhard's 3-4 base defense.

27. San Francisco 49ers - Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The 'Niners are getting LT Trent Williams back for at least one more year but need to start planning for life without the 37-year-old. Lomu would be an exciting apprentice. He won't turn 22 until December and boasts an impressive combination of athleticism and processing.

28. Houston Texans - Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

A smattering of offseason moves has turned Houston's offensive line from pathetic to passable. They need more help. Miller was four-year starter at Clemson and would be a candidate to start this season, even if it means kicking inside.

29. Kansas City Chiefs - Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee

The Chiefs lost 915 coverage snaps with the losses of Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson this offseason. Hood is dripping with upside: A 21-year-old who didn't start playing CB until his junior year of high school.

30. Miami Dolphins - Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

A lingering knee issue could dump McCoy down the draft board. But he's a top-15 talent when healthy. And the Dolphins, flush with 11 draft picks, can afford to roll the dice.

31. New England Patriots - Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

Johnson allowed just 18 catches all last season, defensing 13 passes and snagging 4 INTs. This would be more of a "best-player-available" than "fill-a-need" pick for the Patriots.

32. *TRADE* Arizona Cardinals (from Seattle Seahawks) - Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

The Seahawks, with only four picks in this draft, have openly said they'd like to trade down here. The Cardinals, meanwhile, wouldn't need to pay much to move up from pick 34. They'd get ahead of the Jets at 33 and get the fifth-year option on Simpson's rookie deal.
