This year marks the 23rd NFL Draft I’ve scouted and covered, and I’ve been producing seven-round mock drafts and rankings since 2004.

Anyone can sling out a new mock draft. I bring top-10 accuracy in Big Board projection (better than Mel Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah, and Lance Zierlein). I've even won the contest twice (only seven people have ever been multi-year winners). 

If you want to cut through the noise and find out where players will go in the NFL Draft, this is the place.

The goal this far out isn’t pure accuracy. It’s to help you get familiar with players, traits, and potential draft capital.

Here is my FINAL 2026 Mock Draft.

Round 1

1) Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Mendoza won the Heisman during an undefeated national championship season, and his ball placement and toughness put him atop this draft class (he isn’t afraid to scramble, either). He may not have the upside of recent first overall picks such as Trevor Lawrence and Caleb Williams, but Mendoza could be a solid fantasy contributor in the right offense. And Brock Bowers certainly won’t hurt.

2) New York Jets: David Bailey, Edge, Texas Tech

Bailey is the draft’s best pure pass rusher after piling up 14.5 sacks in 2025. He’s a safer option than Ohio State LB Arvell Reese, who also appears likely to play on the edge in the pros. Bailey won’t give you much against the run, but he pretty much dominated this class’s top OTs.

3) Arizona Cardinals: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami

The Cardinals may try to trade down and still land Mauigoa later. Another stout O-line piece would help Arizona’s new offense. He’s an athletic mover who could be especially worthwhile as the team attempts to rebuild its offense.

4) Tennessee Titans: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Love is the undisputed top RB in the class, with three-down ability and a clear top-five path despite the lack of a tremendous RB need. The Titans could take him as a safety blanket for QB Cam Ward. Our rookie model puts Love in the same league as Bijan Robinson as a prospect, making him the 1.01 in every rookie format.

5) New York Giants: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

Since I began analyzing the draft in 2004, Downs ranks among the three best safeties I have ever scouted, joining Sean Taylor and Eric Berry. He can play deep, line up at nickel CB, or work in the box against the run. That man-to-man ability makes him a fit for any defense. Expect an immediate impact on a Giants unit that needs a difference-maker.

6) Cleveland Browns: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

Tate was overshadowed by teammate Jeremiah Smith at Ohio State, but he still produced in 2025 and leads this group in versatility. He can play X, flanker, or slot. Tate’s catch radius and toughness make him an ideal downfield threat for whatever the Browns throw out at QB.

7) Washington Commanders: Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

The last off-ball LB selected in the top 10 was Isaiah Simmons in 2021, and Styles looks like the next one. He’s an elite athlete who played safety early in his college career, brings strong coverage, and improved his play diagnosis in 2025. Styles should be the top IDP rookie from this draft as the future clean-up tackler for the Commanders’ defense.

8) New Orleans Saints: Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

It’s doubtful Reese falls all the way to pick 8, but Saints GM Mickey Loomis loves trading up to make a splash. Reese flashed early with 6.5 sacks over his first eight games. His pass rush tailed off late, but the athletic upside of an off-ball LB with edge capabilities will be enticing. Edge also remains the Saints’ biggest need, so the fit makes sense.

9) Kansas City Chiefs: Rueben Bain, Edge, Miami

Bain’s arm length (30 7/8) may keep some teams away, but he fits the Chiefs’ defense at a position of need. The film is excellent: He’s a tenacious pass rusher with a variety of moves who pressures the QB consistently and still has room to grow. This would be a home run for the Chiefs.

10) New York Giants (from Cincinnati Bengals): Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

Tyson is a dynamic weapon who excels on short screens and creates yards after the catch. His ball tracking and body control also let him win contested balls down the field. If teams are comfortable with the medical, he should go in the top 10.

The Giants need to support Jaxson Dart, and another playmaker would help his development.

11) Miami Dolphins: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

The Dolphins are in full rebuild mode, and starting with the O-line makes sense. Fano presents excellent technique and stays loose in his kickslide. He can play either LT or RT, giving the Dolphins versatility.

12) Dallas Cowboys: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

Delane took a huge step forward after transferring to LSU. He shut down every opposing WR in 2025, using a combination of physicality and athleticism. The Cowboys have looked for a true lockdown man CB for years, and Delane would be a steal at 12.

13) Los Angeles Rams (from Atlanta Falcons): Makai Lemon, WR, USC

Lemon would be an ideal fit for a Rams team that moves its weapons around before the snap to create mismatches. He’s a strong slot WR who excels after the catch and could contribute right away. If Davante Adams leaves after this season, Lemon could grow into a productive No. 2 WR next to Puka Nacua.

14) Baltimore Ravens: Zion Young, Edge, Missouri

Young in the top 15 would be a surprise, but the Ravens may be able to move down and still grab the perfect fit for their defense. Even after signing Trey Hendrickson, the Ravens need to add even more pass rush to their defense. Young plays the run well and uses his hands to generate pass rush.

15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

Proctor could start on the interior for the Bucs, which is likely his best NFL position. His massive frame lets him fill space without losing nimbleness. Kicking him inside would also hide the weaknesses in his game.

16) New York Jets (from Indianapolis Colts): Omar Cooper, WR, Indiana

The Jets might have the worst slot WR situation in the league, and Cooper would immediately upgrade it as an after-catch specialist. According to Sharp Football, Cooper broke a tackle on 39% of his receptions in 2025. He would give Geno Smith — and whoever the future QB is — an easy way to create yards after the catch.

17) Detroit Lions: Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

OT Taylor Decker retired, leaving a huge hole at RT for the Lions. Freeling lacks ideal experience, but he matches the Lions' toughness and grit. They could opt for Blake Miller if more experience is necessary.

18) Minnesota Vikings: Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon

Thieneman suits the Vikings' defense as a replacement for Harrison Smith. Thieneman excels as a coverage Safety who can make interceptions, but he showed strength in the box as well. Thieneman could be an intriguing IDP option if he lands here.  

19) Carolina Panthers: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

Sadiq is tough to place in a mock, but the Panthers need another dynamic receiving option for Bryce Young. He can play in the slot or handle in-line snaps, giving the offense another weapon. He could earn a large target share in Carolina.

20) Dallas Cowboys (from Green Bay Packers): Keldric Faulk, Edge, Auburn

The Cowboys should focus on defense early, and a young edge like Faulk could help set them up for the future. After taking Delane earlier, they land a strong leader in Faulk as the Micah Parsons replacement. If he lives up to his athleticism, he should make a large impact on the Cowboys’ defense.

21) Pittsburgh Steelers: Vega Ioane, IOL, Penn State

Ioane has a shot to go in the top half of the first round, so the Steelers may have to move up to get an instant LG replacement. Ioane has flawless technique with the athleticism to be a Day one NFL starter. He can fit any scheme and help improve the run game. 

22) Los Angeles Chargers: Peter Woods, DL, Clemson

The Chargers are pretty wide open in terms of who they can draft. A versatile DL like Woods could provide some pass rush while improving the run defense. He had a down year in 2025 but offers impact upside. Woods’ grade will vary wildly by team, so don’t be surprised if he goes higher than this.

23) Philadelphia Eagles: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

The Eagles’ lack of O-line depth led to disaster last season. Adding a future OT to replace Lane Johnson while bolstering that depth should be a top priority. Iheanachor’s 2025 film is among the best in the class, but his lack of experience could lead to growing pains. The Eagles are the perfect spot to develop him.

24) Cleveland Browns (from Jacksonville Jaguars): KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Could the Browns actually double up at WR? Perhaps. If they do, Concepcion could pair as the slot WR with Tate outside. Concepcion’s explosiveness and route running get him open against any coverage. He does drop passes, but his athletic talent could still make him an impact fantasy WR. According to Player Profiler, his 18.9 breakout age sits in the 90th percentile, and that early domination shows the upside.

25) Chicago Bears: TJ Parker, Edge, Clemson

The Bears have some options at Safety and on the defensive front to help bolster their defense. Parker would add an option who could play inside and outside to add pass rush. He flashed explosion and power off the snap, giving Parker the upside to be a consistent NFL starter.

26) Buffalo Bills: Malachi Lawrence, Edge, UCF

Lawrence has earned first-round buzz after 11 tackles for loss and 7 sacks this past season. His violent hands and explosive first step make him dangerous. The Bills’ defensive front could use even more youth, and Lawrence would fit the bill.

27) San Francisco 49ers: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

Lomu could play inside or outside in the NFL because of his strong technique and footwork. His solid punch should make him a future starter for the 49ers wherever they need him. Getting the O-line right should help the 49ers’ offense stay strong.

28) Houston Texans: Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

The Texans’ weak O-line showed up again in the playoffs. Miller could help stabilize the entire unit. His toughness and intangibles give him starting potential despite the lack of elite film. He looks good enough to start, even if he’s unlikely to become an All-Pro.

29) Kansas City Chiefs (from Los Angeles Rams): Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee

The Chiefs moved Trent McDuffie and certainly could invest in a potential replacement. Hood goes before teammate Jermod McCoy in this mock due to McCoy’s medicals. Hood stands on his own with a smooth backpedal and smooth hips. He could develop into a No. 1 CB.

30) Miami Dolphins (from Denver Broncos): Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

The Dolphins’ regime comes from a Packers organization that rarely went WR in Round 1, but supporting Malik Willis remains a top priority. Boston would add a big, athletic option who can play the X WR role in OC Bobby Slowik’s offense. He offers more athleticism than his size suggests, but his late breakout (44th percentile at age 20.8) shows some bust potential.

31) New England Patriots: Akheem Mesidor, Edge, Miami

The Patriots could go in any direction, but their win-now mode may push them toward instant-impact players. Mesidor had an incredible 2025 with 12.5 sacks and 17.5 TFL. Playing opposite Rueben Bain didn’t hurt, but Mesidor held his own. He may have already hit his peak at 25 years old, but he should be an immediate starter.

32) Arizona Cardinals (from Seattle Seahawks): Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

On my 2026 Big Board, Simpson ranks as the 70th-best player in the draft. The NFL may agree, but it still feels likely that someone trades up for him before the first round is over. The Cardinals could make that move for a low pick and still land their future QB.

Simpson looked like a top draft pick through his first eight games, but it fell apart against harder competition on the back end of the season. He will need some grooming, but he could sit behind Brissett for a year. That wouldn’t be ideal for Simpson’s fantasy outlook, but first-round capital would still make him a viable top-15 pick in Superflex rookie drafts.

33) New York Jets: Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

35) Tennessee Titans: R Mason Thomas, Edge, Oklahoma
