Falcons QB Tua Tagovailoa has struggled so badly in training camp that Michael Penix has a chance to win the Week 1 starting job, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport said Atlanta planned to start Tagovailoa while Penix worked back from his knee injury, but Tua's play has made that "impossible."

The Falcons fired HC Raheem Morris, according to multiple reports. Atlanta went 8-9 in each of Morris' two seasons, failing to reach the playoffs either year. OC Zac Robinson will likely be gone, too, although that hasn't been confirmed. The Falcons have elite offensive building blocks in RB Bijan Robinson and WR Drake London, plus an above-average offensive line. The defense flashed at times this season, even though it tailed off over the second half. QB is the big question mark for this team going forward after Michael Penix's season ended with yet another knee injury. We'll see who the Falcons tab to replace Morris and Robinson, but this team certainly has upside in 2026 and beyond.

Falcons WR Drake London (knee), WR Darnell Mooney (knee), and TE Kyle Pitts (knee) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Saints after being limited in practice all week. HC Raheem Morris said Friday that all three guys are expected to play. London has struggled returning from his PCL injury, catching just four balls for 31 yards over the last two weeks. Pitts is a more comfortable fantasy start, although it's possible that this knee issue contributed to his Week 17 dud. We'll get Atlanta's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Falcons WR Drake London will play Monday night against the Rams, according to ESPN Falcons reporter Marc Raimondi. London's officially questionable with his knee injury but managed limited practices all week. We've had him projected into WR1 territory since early in the week.

"Looking forward to seeing how much he’ll be able to potentially give us this week," Morris added. We wouldn't consider London a lock to return for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals considering how long it took TE Brock Bowers and WR Ricky Pearsall to return from their PCL injuries. He's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues but should be on benches for Week 13. WR Darnell Mooney, TE Kyle Pitts, and RB Bjian Robinson will be the best target bets for the Falcons in New York on Sunday.
