Keaton Mitchell Sidelined After "Mild Setback"

Chargers RB Keaton Mitchell has missed practice time with what OC Mike McDaniel called a "mild setback." Mitchell went into the blue medical tent during Thursday's preseason game against the 49ers but stayed on the sidelines afterward. We don't have any other details on his ailment.

Chargers Add Keaton Mitchell, Not De'Von Achane

The Chargers are signing RB Keaton Mitchell to a two-year deal, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Mitchell will get $9.25 million in all, with $5 million of that guaranteed. Mitchell spent the past three years with Baltimore after arriving as an undrafted free agent. He hit the open market after the Ravens elected not to tender him as a restricted free agent.

Derrick Henry Rumbles for 128 Yards And 2 TDs

The Ravens were forced to play most of Week 16 without QB Lamar Jackson, who injured his back in the second quarter. Baltimore RB Derrick Henry did his part, rushing for 128 yards and 2 TDs, but it wasn't enough as the Patriots reeled off 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Ravens 28-24. Henry's performance was his best showing since opening the season with 169 yard and a pair of TDs against the Bills.

Keaton Mitchell Ready For Week 15

Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell (knee) is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. He’ll be ready for his usual change-of-pace role in that one but would be a desperation fantasy start.

Coach Deems Keaton Mitchell 'Day to Day'

Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell avoided serious injury in the knee that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to the Steelers. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Mitchell sustained "no structural damage," and Baltimore HC John Harbaugh calls the RB "day to day."

Keaton Mitchell Out With Knee Injury

Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Steelers with a second-half knee injury. He tallied 76 yards on six carries before exiting, fueled by a 55-yarder in the third quarter. With RB Justice Hill on IR, Mitchell's absence leaves Rasheen Ali as Baltimore's No. 2 RB.

        Justice Hill To IR

The Ravens placed RB Justice Hill (neck) on IR. He was already ruled out for tonight's game vs. the Bengals but will now be sidelined at least through Week 16. Hill can be dropped in all fantasy leagues. His absence should mean a little extra work for RB Keaton Mitchell, although RB Rasheen Ali also got some of Hill's pass-catching work when he missed Week 11.

Justice Hill Out For Week 13

Ravens RB Justice Hill (neck) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. RBs Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali basically split Hill's pass-catching role when he missed Week 11. Mitchell carried six times for 31 yards and caught two of three targets for 23 yards in that one. He's still not a viable play in season-long leagues, but Mitchell is in play as a flier in Thanksgiving daily contests.

Justice Hill Out For Week 11

Ravens RB Justice Hill (toe) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. Hill leads Ravens RBs with a 41% route rate and 11.4% target share this season. His absence could mean more passing-game work for RB Derrick Henry, although RB Keaton Mitchell could also pick up some of Hill's work. Consider this a slight upgrade to Henry's Week 11 fantasy outlook.

Justice Hill Still Playing More Than Keaton Mitchell

Keaton Mitchell carried four times for 31 yards in Sunday's win over the Vikings, ranking second among Baltimore RBs in rushing work. Justice Hill followed with just one carry, producing a 1-yard TD in the middle of the third quarter. Derrick Henry, of course, dominated ground work with 20 rushes for 75 yards. Henry also led the backfield receiving against Minnesota, catching all three of his targets for 9 yards. Hill followed him in that area, running seven pass routes to Henry's 18 and catching one of two targets for 12 yards.

        Keaton Mitchell A Healthy Scratch

Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell is a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs. the Bills. It's surprising after Mitchell turned in an impressive preseason, carrying nine times for 68 yards and a score. Baltimore will roll with RBs Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, and Rasheen Ali tonight.
