D'Andre Swift Headshot

After being out-carried by Kyle Monangai in Chicago's last three games, D'Andre Swift reclaimed his No. 1 RB status in Week 15. Swift rushed 18 times for 98 yards and 2 TDs to help lead the Bears to a dominant 31-3 win over the Browns. Swift's 22.6 PPR points in this game were his second-highest total of the season.

Swift took control of the backfield early. He was featured in Chicago's first two drives. The Bears went three-and-out on the first drive.

In their second drive, Swift carried 4 times for 16 yards, including a 6-yard TD to put the Bears up for good.

Monangai began mixing in during Chicago's third drive, but Swift was simply the better option in this one-sided game.

Chicago had more or less gone to a committee backfield since Week 10, which was one week after Monangai's 198-yard showing while Swift was sidelined with a groin injury.

In their last 5 games, Swift held a narrow 48% to 44% backfield carry share. That changed in Week 15.

PLAYERSNAPS TOUCHES YARDS PPR
D'Andre Swift37 (56%) 19 96 22.6
Kyle Monangai28 (42.4%) 11 33 3.3

Swift caught his only target for a 2-yard loss, while Monangai failed to corrall either of his 2 targets.

While Monangai was out-touching Swift before this game, this is the third week in a row that Swift has out-scored Monangai in fantasy leagues.

The increased touches in Week 15 bode well for Swift's value next week. He'll be a mid-to-low-end RB2 against a stingy Green Bay Packers run defense.

Monangai should continue to factor in and remain a Flex candidate.
