Allen was awful last week against the Texans, taking 8 sacks in the game. He went 24/34 for 253 yards and no TDs. With only 20 yards rushing, he let down fantasy managers. This should be a get right spot against the Steelers, who were torched by Caleb Williams last week for 3 passing TDs. The Steelers are allowing 277.6 passing yards per game, the most in the league. Trust Allen this week.

Hurts appeared on track for a truly enormous Week 12 before Philly's offense stalled out in the second half. But even with that, he delivered the position's top fantasy score for the week. Chicago enters this week as the seventh-most friendly QB matchup by our adjusted fantasy points allowed.

Maye has finished as a top-12 fantasy QB in six of his last seven games -- and he was QB15 in the other. He's in a nice spot on Monday night at home with a 27-point implied total against the Giants' 27th-ranked QB defense.

Stafford continued his hot streak, going 19/23 for 210 yards and 3 TDs in the first half against the Buccaneers. They blew out the Bucs, and Stafford didn’t do much in the second half, but he is on an MVP-type run. Stafford has been dominant against Cover-3 this year with a 73.8% completion percentage, and that is the Panthers’ base defense. This is a potential smash spot for Stafford.

Dart is on track to return for Monday night's game vs. the Patriots. It's a nice matchup against a defense that's been tougher against the run than the pass all season. New England ranks 25th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs both on the season and over the last five weeks. The Pats have also coughed up 53 rushing yards to Josh Allen and 67 yards and a score to Justin Fields.

Nix has been a volatile producer this season but has largely delivered in plus matchups. He gets one of those on Sunday night against Washington's 30th-ranked QB defense. The Commanders had allowed 3+ passing scores in four straight games prior to their last outing.

Herbert followed a rough outing against Pittsburgh with an awful performance at Jacksonville. But he tossed 2+ TD passes in four straight games before that and fared well in this year's first meeting with the Raiders: 70% completions, 9.0 yards per attempt, and a pair of TD passes back in Week 2. The biggest question might be passing volume. The Chargers have attempted fewer than 30 passes in three of the past four games and hope to get RB Omarion Hampton back for this game.

Six starts, six top-12 fantasy finishes. Brissett posted the eighth-best score at the position last week (depending on your scoring format) despite taking six sacks and throwing just 1 TD pass. High pass volume has helped. Brissett has attempted at least 44 passes in three straight games, with his two largest totals the past two weeks. RB Trey Benson doesn't appear ready to return after missing Thursday's practice. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. could be ready to come back from his appendix surgery to bolster the passing game, though.

After a three-game layoff, the Texans will welcome C.J. Stroud back in a must-win game against the division-leading Colts. Stroud boasts a 3-1 record against the Colts, with 7 TDs and 2 INTs. The Texans are surging while the Colts have lost 2-of-3, and QB Daniel Jones looks banged up. View Stroud as a mid-range QB2 with sneaky upside.
16. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

Purdy comes off a lousy Week 12, where he tossed 3 first-half INTs. Things won't get easier in Week 13 against Cleveland's defense. The Browns have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs. The Niners are only projected to score 20.75 points, which ranks 20th for the week. Consider Purdy a mid-range QB2, but not a must-start in 1QB leagues.

Darnold faces a Vikings defense that’s second league-wide in pressure rate and first in blitz rate. If Seattle can block it up, though, Darnold should be able to create more explosives with Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Darnold is a QB2 with top-12 potential.

Philly's defense has improved from the early-season version, especially after adding Edge Jaelan Phillips at the trade deadline. But the unit also just allowed 354 passing yards and 3 total TDs to Dak Prescott. The Eagles sit in the middle of the league in fantasy points allowed to QBs, while Williams presents a constant boom/bust profile. He carries some upside among the QB2-range guys but falls short of being an attractive Week 13 play on the road.

Mayfield has shown enough disregard for his own body through the years that we should expect him to play through this left shoulder injury. But his limited Week 12 marked the fourth time in the past five weeks that Mayfield threw one TD pass or fewer. And he reached 230 passing yards in a game just once in that span. So we'd rather keep him benched for Week 13.

Jones has been scuffling after a fast start. The Colts have dropped 2-of-3, and Jones has thrown only 4 TDs and turned the ball over 7 times in that span. Jones was seen looking hobbled at practice this week and now gets to face an elite Texans' defense. Houston is the only team in the league that has not allowed a top-12 weekly finish to a QB all season. As good a story as Jones has been this season, he's little more than a low-end QB2 in Week 13.

Mariota will get WR Terry McLaurin back this week, but that's not enough to make him anything more than a low-end QB2 against a stout Broncos defense that will get lockdown CB Pat Surtain back for Sunday night's game. Denver ranks first in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs and has even limited QB rushing production, allowing just three rushing yards to Jalen Hurts, 31 to Justin Fields, and 11 to Jaxson Dart.
